Thanksfully Havoc has eatten anything yet that we had to come in for the assist on :). He was at the vet on Monday though and as the vet was looking up his nose, he stuck some tweezers up there and pulled out a big clump of paper towel that must have gone in his mouth and up and around...

I bet I've got the grossest story! Fiona has a habit of destroying her stuffed babies. Sometimes she'll get some of their stuffing in her mouth and ends up swallowing it.

I let her out to potty one day and found her dashing around the yard like a mad woman, with at least a 10 inch long "something" coming out of her butt. The faster she ran the faster this thing "chased" her, whacking her behind from side to side. Once I was able to corral her, I pulled out another 2 inches of poop and stuffed animal fuzz.

I so wish I had the video camera, it was a sight to see!

Revan so far has eaten a babywipe. a dental C.E.T chew, rope from his chew toy, cotton from a doll. I caught him trying to eat a laundry dryer sheet. ( the kids took out the laundry and just threw it on the couch and he found it ).. All the other things i did not know about nor did i see him eat, until i cleaned up his mess. The babywipe i was astonished. I saw something white come out so i went to investigate and i unfolded it with a stick i was amazed it came out. And stressed out the same time to think that i didnt even know he ate it. What if there were complications because of this . I know he ate all these things when the DH was home. I watch him like a hawk! Its like he grazes when he is outside. His mouth is so close to the ground you know he is sucking things up.

Scarey!!

Well after DH inspected it, he figured out it was baby wipes. For those of you that have wipes around (Pampers) is the brand I am talking about. They come out connected. I guess Chico kept on dispensing himself wipes for whatever reason and just sucked them down. I don't know if I left a container in his reach, or if my two year old was playing with the wipes, which happens frequently. She shares too, especially with the dogs!!!

Well, at least they came on through. I will keep a better look out for the wipes and everything else for that matter. Thanks for all the funny, similar stories.

well this has never happened to cash or any of my previous dogs...but i am sure if he ate something that wouldnt digest properly it would happen.

I don't know what the deal is with it but mine ALWAYS do it at the most embarassing timesand places! So far it's happened everytime but once at the dog park! Everyone looks and says Ewww and laughs! :o

intestinal intusseption

This has also happend to my dogs, but just a warning: please be VERY careful! My sister is a vet and she said she has lost count at how many people end up at the clinic after trying to pull something out of their dogs bottoms and actually causing an intestinal intusseption. (meaning the bowel telescopes into itself) That is a very serious condition, so just be aware and use your best judgement.

Oh the joy of "Hangers". The first time it happened i had no idea what the hell was going on. The look on Harlies face was priceless, she was terrified and when i found out what it was i about died laughing. Now it just happens every once in a while. DH was so digusted when he had to do it.
