This is a common problem here. Chico is always eating things that he should not. The most common is monkey grass, which I guess does not digest, because when he goes to poo, it gets stuck. We have to pull it out. This has happened quite often.

Well this morning, I let him out to potty and he came back to the front porch just running around in circles and foaming at the mouth. He was going NUTS. Well of course, there it was, a very long piece of something hanging out of his butt. I had to get a plastic baggie and pull this thing out. I swear to all of you, it was 3 ft long. My guess is it had to be a rope unless snakes don't digest and come out the same as they went in. This is so disgusting.

I guess I wonder, it this a Boxer thing, or an animal thing. It has happened to the puppy, Bella only once so far.

LOL-I think it's an individual dog thing. What goes in must come out. Some dogs will eat anyting! I'd watch out for obstructions if your pup is one that eats anything.

I'm going with its an animal thing.

My rottie was horrible for eating paper, tissues, paper towels, etc. I can't tell you how many times I had to assist - yuck. I always knew when she had an issue, she would just lay down outside and not move.

So far so good with Winston, but he is still such a baby...I know the time is coming though.

oh yea the poop monster. be careful tho don't pull something out that you have to tug at. if that happens then a vet should do that.

When Lisa eats grass this happens to her, normally she will be running around in circles and rubbing her backside on the ground as if she is cleaning it. It is funny to watch but I am sure its damn annoying for her.

Tyler is the same way, he goes crazy and runs in circles if it's hanging there (usually it's a piece of my hair) and I have to get it out for him. My moms maltese is the same way. Sometimes he will get a little piece of poop caught in his fur and he runs over to my mom like, "help me, get it off!!!!!!"

My best friends laborador ate a bread bag one time...
They had to sit up all night waiting for him to 'pass it'...then had to assist.
The vet gave him some stuff to make it 'move along' faster...
No thanks.
I'm grateful that the only weird thing was the bologna string that Semmi pooped out...it was red and intertwined with her poo...scared me for a minute...but then totally grossed me out.
