Remembering Hershey

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you for your kind words. This week has been very hard for me. The house is so quiet without him here. Everytime the door bell rings I keep waiting to hear him run down the stairs and start barking. I just put his bowls away a couple of days ago. As I was going around picking up his toys I was crying hysterically. I di know he is at the bridge now playing with all of his friends but I still miss him so. Thank you again for all of your kind words- Amy

Amy, it's so difficult to lose them. I remember how hard it was to put all my puppy's things away. They take a little piece of your heart with them when they go. It does get better though. Your heart begins to mend and it will become easier to remember Hershey with smiles instead of tears. I wish you strength during this difficult time and hope that soon your fond memories of Hershey begin to ease your pain.

It is very hard to adjust to the day-to-day things after we lose our babies. Soon you will be able to remember Hershey and smile thinking of all the times you have shared. Hang in there. ((((hugs))))
