Boxer Booster
Hello Everyone!
Just wanted to introduce ourselves. DH, myself, and our 2 kids (7.5 and 11) were recently owned by a Boxer puppy. Otis is now 8 months old and has been with us for just about 2 months now. He is a male, neutered Flashy Fawn. WE are having a ball and re-acquainting ourselves to having a fur-kid. We lost our first dog, Bouncer (Chinese Shar-Pei at 6 yrs old to cancer about 6 yrs ago). :(
Otis is so full of life and energy! Whew! Life is just not the same anymore! It's more fun! Not to say that we don't have those tough "what did we get ourselves into" days. We just say..."Oh Otis!", laugh, cleanup and then play some more! :D
Some days are tough but we have learned that the good days far outweigh the bad and this is just the puppy-teenage stage and it won't last for long....we hope! :D
I joined BW about a month ago but have not posted until now. I also wanted to thank everyone for their "help" as I searched for any topics I needed. It's gotten us through some of those tough days.
Just started reading The Dog Listener due to all the recommendations. I have The Culture Clash on reserve at the library waiting to be picked up. So thank you for the recommendations!
Tulsa-Dan...I just wanted to thank you for teaching me to "Search" before posting a topic. I think that's why I haven't posted yet. :p :D
I've actually found a lot of info this way. Just an FYI...If I post a topic, please note that I have searched and just couldn't get an answer so I had NO choice but to post my question. :D :D
