My 8 month old male has the worst gas.... we upgraded from Royal Canine to Orijen and it has helped some. We do give him training treats. I am guessing this is very likely food born....?

I've had 2 boxers and both of them have had really really bad gas at some time or other. I just thought it was part of the things that go along with the breed. Someone else may have a better answer.

Whenever I rotate my Boxers' food, Oscar has gas that would gag a maggot for about 3 weeks. It takes him a while to adapt to a new food, no matter how gradually I introduce the new food. We just went through such a transition, and I'm glad it's over.

Agreed, plain yogurt or cottage cheese works for my lil guy. It also seems to firm his poop up too. When you're at the store pay the lil extra for the good yogurt with (i think) 5 different live cultures. Perhaps in the "organic" or "local" fridge area. His gas was just awful :) Although we would always get a good laugh at it. S.B.D
