raw feeding

been feeding fink raw for about a year. he loves it. i cant give him chicken because hes allergic. any other bones anyone suggests that i can give him with his food. he eats beef and pork marrow bones now i just feel he needs to gain weight. hes only 57lbs where he should be closer to 65-70. hes not full grown yet but i know hes thin. also what types of organs do you feed. i don't feed him enough of that i know.

Try turkey. Dog are often allergic to chicken, but they can be fine with other poultry. You can also feed any fish, though salmon from the Pacific North west, must frozen first at 0 F. for 30 days. They can carry a salmon fluke which will be killed by thorough freezing. Herring and Mackeral are great and can be quite reasonable at oriental stores.

You can pretty much feed any organs from most animals and poultry. 10-20 percent of their diet should be organs. Try liver, kidneys, heart, green tripe, gizzards etc.

I give Gus duck necks for extra bone. He needs way more than the recommended 10%. You might try that instead of chicken as well.
