Raw Bones

I noticed somewhere on this site that raw bones for our babies is highly recommended. Ok...here's Kissy's mom's dumb question. How do i acquire raw bones. I live In So California..and the markets are huge and commercial. I would love Kissy to be able to 'munch a bunch!'.

I usually get soup bones for Billy, I make sure they are the large ones. Most of the major stores carry them, I have found them at Albertsons, Vons & Walmart.

I have bought these large bones for my dog and he loves them , however I boiled them becuase I did not know any better. Next time I buy some, I am going to give them to him raw. My question.....Sometimes there is meat/fat in the middle of the bone or left on the side that he cannot get at or it to tired to work at. If this bones sits around with this raw meat on it, can he get sick if he eats it later? I think it would stink by this point or do you just throw it out?
