Rash on belly

I just noticed my little babe has a rash between her legs.

Is this ringworm?!??!? If not, any ideas? She will definitely be having a visit to the vet...

Hi! I had posted about this before when my pup had a rash between her legs. It was all bumpy and had some whiteheads and it looked even worse because she would lick it all the time, which made it look dark....

Well, when we went to the vet last week for a wellness check before her spaying surgery, the vet looked at it and said "oh, that's puppy acne" its very common and no big deal, he gave her some antibiotics for only 1 week and it was gone in a few days!

Wish I knew this a while ago, when I thought it was allergies and I kept trying to put cream on it. This was a new vet that we switched too, so Im glad he knew what it was.

Not sure if your pup has the same thing, but maybe.....

yeah, that looks different than what my puppy had.... sorry, i should have looked first!!

My Laila had the puppy rash but it was different than your pictures..I think the best thing to do is let the vet decide...let us know how you make out..it will be fine but you need to know what it is to treat it....

Just curious, what antibiotics did they put her on?

He gave her Cephalexin 500mg

Looks like an infection of some sort. My girl is prone to staph infections and she will have this same look with additional areas of small pimple-like bumps (pustules) in the same area.
Of course your vet needs to take a look at it however you could try washing the area with an antibacterial soap like Dial or similar.
It doesn't look like ringworm to me....but I am not a vet!
