Rain in CA, not good.

Well we finally are having some winter weather in Riverside, CA and my dogs are not happy.
It has been raining and I literally have to drag the dogs outside to go potty. Sammy has a terrified look on his face as if the rain is hurting him. He goes potty while he is looking up and around. It is the funniest thing! Ruby does the same but not as bad. They hate the rain. I can't image what they would do if it were to ever snow. Lucky for them or I should say for me that won't happen. I don't know how you guys do it in the snow.

When it rains I have to literally push Lou out the door to go, but surprisingly he loves the snow. He loves to do boxer burns and chomp it at the same time. It's hilarious!

We had snow here last week - up in the desert!!! Billy loved it and ran around like a headless chicken, but it is a novelty for us. We usually get sun, sun and then some more sun.

Roxie is the same way! When it rains, she will walk outside and as soon as the rain hits her she makes a u-turn and tries to go right back inside. She is so funny. But if there is snow, there is no getting her inside (well at least until her paws are too cold to walk)! I would also agree that snow is better than rain. I like the cold and there is no muddy clean up!

Tyson also doesn't like rain. But snow, he's in heaven. I just wish we had more of it this winter. We are to get rain/freezing rain tonight and Christmas day is to be 50*. When it rains, Tyson also just looks up at the sky while doing his duties. But in the snow, he's trying to pee or poo and catch the snow flakes. Pretty funny. It has been really cold here the last couple days. (5* when I get up at 5am) and he definately doesn't like that. Pee or poo and one boxer burn around the house and straight for the door to come in.
