I took Isis in for her shots and deworming. I found out today that she has roundworm. The vet gave her meds to deworm her. She is schedule to go back to the vet in three weeks to make sure they are gone. She just pooped out alot of them. Its so gross. Anyways my question is this. Should I be worried that one of my children could get roundworms? I have been reading up on roundworms and children that get them. Now I am freaked out that one of my kids could get roundworms. I have cleaned every hard floor in our house with bleach and picked up every single dog dropping I could find in our back and front yards. I have also been cleaning my kids hands more often than I normally do. I started whipping both of my dogs paws after they come back in from out side. I am going to call my vet and my children's doctor in the moring just to see if there is anything else I can do. So, does anyone have an suggestions, advice, etc.
