Hey everyone, Rocky is going to be going in within the month to finally have this done. The couple we adopted him from wanted to wait and see if his testes would drop, well they haven't and he's now 2 years old.
I've been reading back topics on the neutering and I will for sure tell my vet NO ACE, what other things though should I be aware of, and are there other concerns that I should voice once there??
Rocky is my 1st boxer and I'm already totally in love with him. I just don't want anything to go wrong.
Thanks in advanced,
Amy

I am sure that Rocky is going to be just fine and good job researching about the ace, that is dangerous stuff. I was terrified when Jade went in for her surgeries. I told the vet that I would call and check up on her several times, and they told me that was alright. It made me feel better to get check ups.

This should be common sense to a vet but for some reason it wasn't to theirs!!! When we adopted our boys from the rescue, they had them neutered. The vet must have ran out of dissolvable stiches and finished with the removable kind. No one told us!!! Poor boys started having problems so I took them to our vet and she removed the rest:( Just something to watch out for i guess. I am sure your baby will do just fine!! Sending prayers of fast healing your way:)
