So I sent my husband to get a harness for my 5mth old dog Duke, and he brought home a harness that is suppose to help with dogs that pull. I'm wondering if anyone has used it, and if it can be harmfull for my boy.

Anyways it goes on like anyother harness but it doesnt latch on, you slip it on, and it stay's loose unless he pulls then it gets tight. just wondering if this is an ok harness.

What is it called? I'm pretty sure the Halti fits loosely like this, and I have heard good things about it. Sammy wears a martingale type (the Easy Walk Harness)... but it fits snugly so that isn't exactly the same. If you can give the name/manufacturer, maybe someone will recognize it.

Is this a head harness or a body harness?
I got a body harness that I really like- and it's got a boxer on the box :) It's a no pull from Petsmart.
I have also been very pleased with my head harnesses. Just be sure they fit well.

I had one similar to what you are describing. It was plain black rope pulled through some metal loops. It was called a 'Lupi'. It guaranteed that she would stop pulling... but she found a way to do it anyways :(
So we've got the Gentle Leader headcollar now.
Good luck with yours, though! (What brand is it?)

Not sure what brand it is, cus my dh tried it out, and put all the info in the trash. But it is black and has some metal loops so maybe its the Lupi thing I don't know.

He doesnt pull as bad with it, but if he wants to he can pull with it. I think I might try a headharness.
