My 11 weeker just was out walking with me around the back yard and darn-it if i didn't take my eyes off him for .5 a second did he grab something and start to eat it. Once i realized that he had EATEN some deer poop, i kinda started freaking out. What should we do...? call a vet, but really what can they do since it is already eaten. Should we just watch him and make sure no runny poop, throwing up or anything happens?

Yes, just watch him. I'm assuming it was only a small amount. The thing is, dogs do eat poop - it's very common (dog, deer, horse - and the all-time favourite, cat-poop). Other than the risk of parasites (and it's obvious gross-ness LOL) a small amount of deer poop shouldn't do him any actual harm.

theres an area of our local park where there must be rabbits (VERY unusual in belfast!) bailey has discovered the piles of rabbit poop and head straight for them every time. hes never paid any attention to any other kind of poop including his own before this. i remember reading somewhere that faeces is only dangorously poisonous if the creature eats a meaty diet. vegetarian poop (so to speak) isnt that bad. dont know if this is true or not tho. i dont let him eat the bunny poop anyway!
