Question about 2nd dog

Hi! This is my first post but I have been lurking here for about a month (great board!!). I don't have a boxer yet, and the only boxers I have been around are the 2 my cousin has. I am researching boxers b/c I think they are PRECIOUS and I want a bigger dog. My question is - do you think a boxer and a pug would be an ok mix? My Pug is definitely content to just lay around all day, but he's also very playful. On another post, someone said something about Dobe's and Boxers having a different play style. Any thoughts on Pugs? Thanks alot!

I have had boxers on and off my entire life as well as other dogs.
I have never had a boxer that had a problem with any of the other dogs.

Now, some of the other dogs have had problems with boxers.
Their play style can seem aggressive to other dogs, but we know it is not that way at all.

All the boxers I have had have even gotten along fine with the cat.

For a short time we had a pug/?? mix. she was a very sturdy little dog . She wrestled around with Gunner like she was as big as him.

I think as long as you got the boxer as a young puppy you wouldn't have to much of a problem. Or maybe find a rescue boxer that has been checked for compatibilty with other dogs.
