Boxer Booster
Well we went to the pounds this weekend and saw a beautiful older Boxer boy, but he was being adopted when we walked in. We were so glad that he was being adopted, a friend of mine had seen him there and told us, so we went. He was around 7 years old and still had a tail. Boy was he cute. He was found in a field and had some scars so who knows where he came from, because this is the actual pound and they only take strays.
Well when we told the people that we had come to get him they looked scared, but we assured them that we wouldn't have taken him away from them. So no worries. They had been looking for a Boxer to adopt for some while. We were just so glad to see him going to a home with lots of room to run as it turns out they live on a few acres so he will enjoy the rest of his having fun.
Well now to the application, we went on Nor Cal's website and fell in love a boxer boy, so we put in an application. Hopefully they will at least look at us, but we don't live in California we live in the Reno area. Who knows well have to wait and see about adding another Boxer to our two we already have. I will understand if they only adopt in California, though. Hopefully they have numerous familes trying to adopt the Boxers they have and maybe we will find one here in our area that needs to be saved.
I think we might be crazy to want three Boxers, but they're SOOOO cute and they are our kids.
