Puppy Won't Eat

I have had my ten week old boxer now for about 3 weeks and she is hardly eating. She was originally fed pedigree puppy food and I weaned her off of that on to Blue Buffalo Chicken and Brown Rice and she wasn't eating very good unless I put some fish oil on her food. I have started to wean her off of BB and on to TOTW Pacific Stream puppy and she ate good the first day but she still refuses to eat very much without the fish oil. Right now he is about 25% TOTW and 75% BB. I don't know if this is normal or what else I can do to get her to eat. Any feed back would be great.

This might have just been my pup because he was really young when we got him, but he wouldn't eat very much food until we started putting warm water in it. Now he eats it just fine with or without water. I hope all is well for your puppy soon!

Which TOTW flavor are you using? I would try the Pacific Stream since it is fish based and my be that will interest her.

How much does she weigh? How much are you feeding her? What has your vet said about how her weight compares to her size?

And how much is that? How does it compare to the recommended guidelines on the bag? I had a client that was concerned about how "little" his dog was eating. The dog was a good weight for its size and had a normal amount of energy. Turns out he was feeding pretty much right what he should be feeding but he just thought the amount "looked like it wouldn't be enough". If your dog is a good size for its weight, has energy, and is growing at a normal/expected rate per your vets opinion then it doesn't need to eat more.

I try to feed her 3 cups a day and she barely gets down 2, if I'm lucky. I am really worried about her not eating enough and she doesn't seem like any foods except the lower end brand that my neighbors dogs eat that are full of corn. Does any one have any other food suggestions?

Oh god, my puppy doesnt even eat that much.

TOTW bag says 1 3/4 cup a day i believe. I would put that out and Loki wouldnt even eat half that at 6-10 weeks.
Hes now finishing all of that and more at 12 weeks.

If hes healthy and doesnt seem interested in the food, dont over feed him.

Try adding the water to soften the food. but as long as he is eating well and is a good weight dont freak out.
