Puppy wieght at 8 weeks

Hello all!
I will be flying to Green Bay, WI to pick my puppy up at the end of this month. He will 8 weeks at this time. I REALLY want him to fly in the cabin with me. I think it is much safer. The airlines I'm flying will allow him in cabin with me, but the wieght restriction is 15 lbs with kennel. Does anyone know what an average boxer puppy weighs at 8 weeks old?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My puppy's mom and dad are both stockier, traditional german looking, and he is the largest of the litter. So I know he may be a little bit more than average, but I'm praying it's not so much that I'll have to worry about the wieght restriction.

Is your dog big now or more petite?

Thank you again for any help. I'm letting my self get a little too worried about this thing. :)

Finn weighed 9 pounds at 8 weeks and Star weighed 12 pounds :) but Star was a chunkier pup.

Kilbane was 12 Lbs at 8 weeks, now at almost 9 months he's about 60 Lbs. You should be able to get a small carrier, cat type, that doesn't weigh that much.

She is 16 months and 45 lbs right now and I consider her petite even tho she has reached the standard height range. She may make the 50 lbs by the time all is said and done but compared to the other 6 boxers in our family she is the smallest.
