4 months he weighed 30lbs, our Vet weighed him 1/30 50lbs at 7 months. Check out the Physiology forum, you'll find excellent post about size, you'll see theres nothing to worry about!

Our pup Maynard is just over 8 weeks and just weighed in at 15lbs the other day at the vet, she seems to think he's going to be big, but his mom is only about 40lbs and his dad wasn't much bigger.

Our Max is 6 months and he weighs 51 lbs. But it's weird because he was one of the smaller puppies in the litter and for the longest time, he wouldn't grow. He was always skinny and small. But suddenly, he just started to grow. His muscles started to get more developed, his ribs were slowly filling in and next thing we knew he was 51 lbs.

Well Ozzy is 4 months today, and he weights about 37 lbs. He's a big boy, as long as they are healthy I think thats what counts some are small and some are larger.

Lou weighs 31 lbs. at a little over 4 months. Don't worry about the size as long as they look healthy. Boxers aren't supposed to be chubby looking dogs, you should be able to see a couple of ribs at least. Their is no mention of weight in the AKC's boxer standard but other standards say that a dog should weigh around 30kg or so- somewhere around 60-70lbs and the females less. The boxer is supposed to be a medium (or smaller-large) sized dog, so don't worry if your dog doesn't get super big. If they are fed correctly, they'll end up where there genetics put them, looking at their parents is a good indicator of adult size. I'd be more worried if a dog was growing extremely fast as opposed to slower and steadier. If the vet says he's healthy, you shouldn't worry.

I think Spunky is doing fine & at 5 mths he has alot of growing ahead of him.
Our female (Ali) is 3 1/2 yr old & is 23.5kg (52lbs) & is 21 inches at the withers.
Our male (Eric) is almost 3 yr old & is 31kg (69lbs) & is 24 inches at the withers.

Blaze just turned 5 months on the 31st, he was at the vet one week ago Thursday and he weighed 38lbs. I would not worry about your pups weight as long as he is healthy he will grow just fine, he may have a growth spurt tommorrow and gain 5lbs in a week!
