Puppy Weight

I recently took Tobi to have him weighed and he weighed 36lbs. Is this small/normal/large for a 5 1/2 month old puppy. He has Mastiff in him as well so i would assume this is on the large size.

My boy was 51 pounds at 6 months old when he went for his neuter. At 1 year he is, well he was 68 pounds, he lost a few pounds due to kennel cough a couple of weeks ago. But "normal" for him may not be "normal" for your guy so it's hard to say what normal is. If you do not think he looks too fat or too thin and your vet is good with his weight then he is normal for him and therefore perfect. There are just too many size variables in Boxers to say what is normal honestly.

My boys, Cooper & Nero, 6 mths old, weigh in at 22 kg & 21kg. Converted to pounds that is approx 46lb....both are very active and look very skinny....but I think they are heavy enough for the moment,.

If your vet is happy with his weight, I wouldn't worry about it. There are a lot of differences in weight for full bred Boxers, much less when he is mixed with what is usually a heavier, larger dog.
