puppy started having the runs tonight few questions

hello how is everyone??? i have a 12 week old fawn female nameed lexus.. tonight when i took her out to go potty she had the runs really bad.. i just took her to the vet friday for her 12 week check and shots.. he said she was in good health and that she didnt have worms. he did worm her though.. i havent changed the type of food she eats and i have had heard since she was 10 weeks old and i feed her the same food the breeder fed her so if anyone could give me some help as in to why she has got the runs now that would be great!! also i told the vet this and he said that at times its normal she doesnt eat all that much. how can i get her to eat more? i was told that she needs to eat three meals a day i am lucky to get her to eat twice aday. she weighed in at 20lbs is that normal for 12 weeks old? thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!!!

The diarrhea is probably from the shots, if she's not vomiting, is eating OK, drinking OK, and is active. Usually with diarrhea it is recommended to fast for 24 hours, then give boiled hamburger and rice for 24-48 hours.

As for her not eating - how does she look? As long as her spine and hips aren't extremely prominent, she's not underweight. 20 lbs at 12 weeks sounds just fine. If she's not eating all the food you're giving her 3x a day, give her less food at each feeding.
