At least 2 times a day he pukes at random times. Some times before he eats some times after he eats. After he eats he gets hyper and runs around this I am trying to calm him down. But it is almost certain it will happen two times a day. He has been eating BARF chicken neck only for 2 weeks now. Not sure what to do about this. The vet says he seems healthy on the last visit. His poo is solid so it does nto make me think it is the RAW. Any ideas or hints would be great

Well since we started BARF. It is little puke maybe 2 tablespoons. Sometimes more sometimes less. I feed him the same amount of chicken neck everyday and time. I am not sure what the problem is. I am worried about his weight and health decreasing when he pukes not being able to keep his food down

I give up on RAW it is the basic chicken neck and he pukes it up. All over my white couch my girlfriends fault for leaving him on there. but everyday puking he never puked on kibble so back to that we go. I can not take this any more i am about to explode.

Probably your best bet right now as you want him to get nourishment. Once you get him stable on food again if you want to go back to raw maybe introduce very very slowly. Also there are other raw foods you can feed. Was his kibble non-chicken based? Perhaps he has an allergy to chicken? Good luck

It was Science diet. I do not want to cold switch on him with a new RAW item. is there another way to check for allergies. Should i have the vet run tests on his stomach and take xrays?

Ok the problem still exists after 1 month of feeding raw.
He is gaining weight at 2.5lbs a week i been keeping track of it. I have stuck to chicken neck the whole time and gave him a little bit of lamb 3 days ago and he loved it. He is 3 months old today and His poo is still runny and solid at times. I am not sure if it caused by him licking my hard wood floors after we clean it with the swiffer pad an hour or so later or it is the food. He is fed at 8am 1pm and 10pm and He has not eaten a lot lately in 2 days (since his 3rd shot on Sunday). I added a teaspoon of pumpkin puree from the can to his food starting yesterday and awaiting the results for the poo. I am Not sure what to do about this. So i was thinking of introducing other foods to see if that will be best for him. Will this upset his stomach more if i feed him chicken neck in the morning lamb at lunch and dinner? He was doing good for a week or so with no puking only a bit after getting hyper after eating it was so small not even noticeable. but now today 3 times and really running poo.

Is it possible that it could be worms? I never really checked his poo

It is runny,
he strains sometimes when it is solid.
we went to the vet on sunday but i do not think he checked for that.

When Rogue started raw bones she could not digest chicken bones, as they are hard bones, so I had to start with soft bones (turkey), & it made such a difference. Rogue did start on the pre-packed ground down meat & bone though, & never had any trouble with those, I used to cook them at first (to make the switch). Chicken backs have softer bones, & small birds (poussin, quail etc), if that helps at all. The softer the bone, the easier it is for them to digest, they can build up to the dense bones later. :)

Have you been feeding just chicken necks? If so, the problem is too much bone, you need to alternate with softer stuff. Like necks in the morning, boneless meat and organs in the evening. Best wishes!
