Puppy Food

[Fletcher]

So this sunday we pickup our new puppy Fletcher, and we are looking at the different foods. Now we fed our last 2 boxers Nutro, what we thought was top of the line food.. So out of my research I hear these brands:

Orijen | Merrick | Innovo | Taste of the Wild

if these are not the top 4 or the best what is? Which is better than the other? Any info is appreciated...

There's no simple answer to that. Yes Orijen is a great food ingredients wise, but would make my dog incredibly ill if I fed it to him, so for him TOTW and Natural Balance are "the best" because that's what his allergies and stomach can handle. Some dogs do great on a food while another dog may have horrible diarrhea or other issues. It's more of trial and error than anything else.

Personally for price versus nutrition I like TOTW. At $39.99 for a 30 pound bag (in my area) it's affordable, easy for me to get, an all life stages food, with good ingredients and my dog can eat it. I'd recommend you choose 2-3 different foods and rotate every 2-3 bags to give some variety so you could choose each of the foods you mentioned and rotate between them if you're pup can stomach all of them and does well with all of them.
