Puppy dry humping toys???

Morpheus is ten weeks old and has over night discovered he is a boy. He has began dry humping his toys and last night took to a friend's leg. IS this normal at such an early age? Is there anyway to deter him? Will he attempt to do this to other dogs when we encounter them in public?
