Puppy Class

I'm excited to start a puppy class with Bode on Monday. I found a trainer with positive training. No choke chains or collars. I hope I'm a good student.

Good luck! We are in our puppy classes, and we can make half of them, I'll be happy. But one of us is the only one getting trained. Suki just does whatever they want us to work on, then stares at me like, "Seriously, mom? I already know how to do this. Can't we just play instead?"

The added bonus is the they are always dog tired when they get home from class.

We are going to a obidence class tomorrow to meet the teacher...yah little ava and see when she offers next class. Found out from a fellow petco boxer shopper that there was a great one who is also a groomer next to the vet my pup goes too. All in one stop for her :D Anyways...100 dollars for the course and the people I meet said she was very good.....(we broke off our collar at home and had to make a late pitstop to petco before they closed ) I went alone and well was hard to control her by myself harness her and etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the customer helped out alot. He even suggested toys and I suggested boxerworld. Hopefully we will have another member from around my area....

Hows Brode and the puppy clases going. Brodie will be stating his first class this friday. We will be going as a family. My wife and daughter will be handling during the class. In the past I have been the one to bring our dogs and done most of the training. This time I want my family to hear from the trainer directly rather than just me. It will help reinforce what I have been telling them especially my daughter.

Little Bella started puppy classes last Saturday. I was so nervous as I thought she would be the clown of the class but amazingly she was quite well behaved. She found it difficult to concentrate on training though with all the puppies running around!!! I can't wait until this Saturday when she sees her friends again.

We start our puppy class on May 20th. I'm hoping to have him trained in the basics by then so he's ahead of the game a bit. I'm sure he'll have other ideas though
