Boxer Pal
Hello, everyone! We just got a new boxer girl (Kaija, she is 9 weeks old) and we currently have a 2 year old boxer boy (Bentley). Our little girl has been with us for about 2 weeks now and she has adapted extremely well. Bentley and her play, play, play together and love each other. However, she will nip at us and then when we tell her no she gets extremely aggressive. Definately not the play growl/bark! She gets more and more upset and sounds like she is going to rip someone's head off. I don't want to approach this issue the wrong way. When Bentley was a pup whenever he would bite I would say "ouch" loudly enough so he knew something was wrong. This worked great for him after a couple of weeks he no longer nipped at me. However, with our new little girl when we say "ouch or no" she just gets extremely upset. Any suggestions on how to approach this biting from her so that she doesn't develop any bad habits?

Ouch! Everytime she bites hard, simply get up and walk out of the room. She will come to realise that if she bites, the play ends and she gets isolated from the family ;)
