puppy biting

I would like to know why my puppy always bites when someone tries to pet her. She is 2 and a half months old and she has been with us for 1 month. In the past two weeks she has started to bite when she is being punished ( no, no - when she does something unappropriate). Is this something I should be concerned with or is it something that goes away with time? How can I break this habit of her's?

It sounds as if Romy is a fairly normal puppy With a bit of training and consitancy the biting will decrease and it is a great learing curve for pups. When Ruben and Amy were Romy's age I felt as if we were living with two Dracula's
