I have a question my husband and I are getting ready to get a boxer puppy from some friends of ours they were just born a few days ago and we went and looked at them... I picked out a cute little girl that has a rather large white spot on her back and a big part of her face is white too. Will most of the white stay or go away? Does anyone know?

Josh and I picked Brody the day he was born. He had a lot of white on him. His nose was all white. Now he only has one spot on his nose that is white. its all black. So no his skin will stretch where its white will all move down. Well thats in Brody's case. ahahahaaha I wish it would have stayed.

The white areas will shrink. Actually they'll shrink a LOT from what they look like as newborns - or probably more correctly, the puppy will grow and the white areas won't.

Doesn't mean the white will completely go away (though is is sometimes the case with medium sized spots) but it is likely that there will be quite a difference between her current appearance and how she looks at 8 weeks, and again with how she looks as an adult.

The only thing that has changed appearance wise on my Maggie was her nose & belly. She is a very flashy fawn, her nose was pink with a few black spots when we picked her out. Now at 11 months, she has only the faintist speck of pink on her otherwise black nose. I was always told that the flash will shrink a bit as the dog grows... She also had blackish spots develop on her pink belly around 4 months of age.

Jade's white spot on her nose has shrunk, but is still there. And for some odd reason shows up better in photos than in person.
