Boxer Pal
Hello Everyone! My boxer baby is on ivd venison and potato because he has inflammatory bowel disease. He has an extremely sensitive stomach. I saw a advertisement for Prozyme. The advertisement said that it is good for dogs with digestive disorders. Has anyone ever used this product? Is it good?

Lexi used to be on IVD venison and potato for quite some time..it is an excellent food. Although I have never used that product, a teaspoon of nonfat plain yogurt is also good for their digestive tract. We use this quite often with our crew. Good luck and hopefully someone will have first hand knowledge on this product for you.

Prozyme is a digestive enzyme so is good if your dog is not properly digesting their food - raw feeders use it often when first switching to raw or when introducing a new kind of bone (I use it on neck bones and leg quarters, because those occasionally are not fully digested otherwise).

I'm not sure about its usefulness for IBD, but it wouldn't hurt to ask your vet about it :)
