Wonder if anyone out there can offer some advice for me...
I am currently using Window XP with the latest version of window media player... As I don't get many good shows here nor do I have any broadband connection...my friends will download and burn them for me in a CD.. He managed to watch all the shows successfully using his Window ME's Media Player as all the files were saved under Window Meida Player format..
However when I watch them using my Media player..all I get is a black blank screen, no image but just the sound...And when I was prompt to download "codec" I kept getting the message "Error in downloading codec"... Till now I still cannot figure out what is wrong...for all the advices offered by Microsoft support website cannot be used for Window XP...
So if anyone out there...who happens to be using the same software as me..and you managed to view video clip successfully on your window media player....do appreciate very very much if you can teach me how...
