I have an HP Deskjet 932C, when I print photos sometimes I get lines across the photo. I have already cleaned it and primed it but they are still there, how can I get rid of them? It never used to happen, it printed good. I want to start printing my Christmas cards.

Is your INK low?

Check that and if it is buy a replacement. INK doesnt last forever when printing photo's and such which use a lot.

Goodluck

Nope, both are new cartridges, I thought that was what it was at first so I changed them.

I think under troubleshooting it will help you with that. I know that has happened to me, and I somehom managed to fix it, but I don't remember how. Maybe your resolution is low? Under options you can print in draft normal or high (I odnt know what the real name is, maybe photo) quality. make sure it is changed up.

Good luck!

Hi Helene I am no PC person so asked Hubby about your problem and he suggested the following things.
Try a image that you have succsessfully printed in the past and see what happens.
He said some images can be corrupt and not print correctly.
Also have you changed to a new batch of paper?
He also said that once his printers at work did this they were pretty much throw away material. :(
Not what one would want to hear this near Christmas but perhaps Santa could deliver a nice new one? :)

Hi Helene,

Could you finally fix the problem with your printer?

Sorry I haven't got back about the printer before now, but I am having problems with a bug that originates with our local cable company and Norton doesn't recognize it!
I have printed some cards and they don't look too bad, I have also bought another colour cartridge, the other one was a refill, that may have been the problem, I will see as soon as I print a couple more cards and let you know.
'Someone' :D may get away with not buying me a new printer for Christmas! It is a very good suggestion though.

unfortunately its the Print Head, not the cartridges, of course the most expensive part, should run around 50 bucks, these usually go bad every other yr... sry hth
