ok. in my uneducated days i thought i was going the right thing buy ONLY feeding bailey a good quality kibble, then i intruced a small apple every so often (cored) which he loves. he gets some cheese too. he also gets some raw carrot which he likes too. yesterday i gave him a spoonful of natural yoghurt in his kibble..which he loved and ate all of. when we ate i gave him a small broccoli floret and a spoonful of swede/carrot mash. he had a runny stool before bed last night and a runnier one this morning. he had a majorly runny one with my aunt (who dog sits 8-1) but was home alone 1-5 and was fine. he hasnt been toilet since but didnt eat any of his lunch and hadnt even eaten his kong (just licked the cheese spread off the top) and only ate half his dinner (and only after about an hour when i put a big of ground beef on it)
you think the yoghurt disagreed with him? he doesnt really seem his normal hyper self. his still active and alert but pretty chilled out too. i dont want to stop giving him stuff thats good for him but im scared to try again incase i get a repeat performance!

There are a couple of things you're giving to your dog that I've read some things about: The broccoli and apples. I've read that broccoli can give them gas. I can't recall what I read about apples, but it wasn't necessarily favorable...

I think it's possible that the yogurt may have had an effect, but I think that, in most cases, yogurt isn't harmful at all, unless there's a problem with dairy products....but you said you've given cheese before...

You may want to simplify things for a while.

.....I guess apples are not bad for them afterall. Sorry about that.

Broccoli, on the other hand, can be problematic.

From what I've read it's only the apple CORE that is not good for dogs...but I think they would have to eat several at a time before they could harm the animal...our Jack Russell eats the core and all and has never had a problem, but we don't allow Keno to eat the core (since hes younger and might choke)...both of our dogs love apples and get them about once a week or so...
As far as your baby getting runny poo...well that could be from anything...I would just watch him closely ...I'm sure he'll be fine in no time at all ! :)

Good Luck!
