We have babies!!!!!

Well Layla is the proud mom of 7 new boxer babes. 4 boys and 3 girls born between midnight and 6 am. Will post pics soon.

Exciting! Were you able to get Layla and her puppies out from under the porch?

After puppy 1 we brought it in the house and she followed. She still didn't use her welping box she chose my popasan coushin instead.

That's definitely one way to get her inside! And they're certainly worth more than the pillow, huh? LOL

One question: did you have an ultrasound/x-ray done to see how many puppies she was carrying to make sure she delivered them all? The reason I ask is because we had a boxer in rescue recently who surprised us by having a litter of puppies; we found out a couple of days beforehand (she was rescued from a BYB and we thought she was exibiting symptoms from a previous litter). Anyways, she had one of the puppies get stuck in the birth canal and she couldn't deliver it. The vet had to do emergency surgery to remove the last baby (and spayed her at the same time).
