Hi,
This is actualy my first time asking for help so i hope i am not doing so bad.
I brought my Baby Doll Home when she was 6 weeks, and Have had animals all my life, and never had a connection like i do with her. so far the only real problem is the potty training.. I can take her out 3 times a night and the back door can be open all day and she will still potty inthe house in differnt areas, I pick her and it up tell her in a strong voice no! take them outside together and show her where to go. she does go outside to,
heck it does not matter to her where she goes. I guess i should let you know she is 12 weeks now. I have tryed the crate i never heard a dog yell so loud. Help please !!

Not an expert, heck I don't even own a boxer yet.

But I have purchased a couple of books on Boxers to help me when I do get my girl.

Here is what it has to say... They're babies, avoiding the problem is the easiest way to apporach this particular phase.
Take your puppy often and to the same spot in your yard. If accidents to happen inside, be sure to use an odor neutralizer immediatly to rid the house of the smell that sends the return here signal to puppies.

Welcome Katrina.

Well, to a puppy, an open door doesn't mean much. If you were hoping that the puppy would voluntarily go outside and do it's business because you left the door open, then you are in trouble. When you take the puppy outside, you have to do it consistenly in a scheduled manner. I found that it is easier for the pup to relate an event to needing to go outside and pee or poo. For example, whenever my pup wakes up from her nap, I take her outside regardless of whether she needs to go or not. Once outside, she will sniff around and eventually pee. This way, she knows that once she wakes up, she needs to go outside. Our older boy Max, eveyday, 7 days/week, when it hits 8:00 AM, he is whining because he needs to go outside. And everyday, at 10 PM, he is whining again because it's time for a walk.

Crate training is best done when you are not home, otherwise, you are just teasing your pup by sitting in front of the crate and not letting her out. Put he in her crate and go to the market. She will stop crying.

I agree with Dan, also vigilence, its a long haul but will be worth it in the end. Shes still a baby and its takes time.
You can check out crate training by using the search engine bove right and housebreaking.

We also brought home Jack when he was 6 weeks. I figured he was just a baby so we took him out so often we didn't have any accidents at first. He is 13 weeks now and seems to be doing much better. If I could only catch him in the act.
Just take him out every time he eats, after waking and after playing, your baby will get the idea. Good luck......
