I am just wondering if any of your boxers whine or bark or anything like that to let you know when they have to go outside. Beauty goes to the door, but if noone sees her she accidents in the house. She is pretty much potty trained except she doesn't let you know. She will not bark or whine or even scratch at the door. She will go out to the door and sit for a minute. Then go in the house. I was just wondering if this is normal for boxer's.

I would look into bell training. Where she rings a bell when she need to go outside, therefore you can hear her too! Do a search on this forum and there is lots of info on bell training! I hope this helps :D

We have the same problem with Sam, but he will only bark and try to play with the bell  Silly boy. I just keep an eye on him.

Thank You!

Thank you! I have read some of the information on bell training. I think that is going to be the easiest way for us.

The bell worked great for us.

When I was training Beta, I would feel horrible because she would go to the door and just wait there for me. Then, she would end up losing control right next to the door. I felt like such a bad parent. At a wedding we went to, they handed out little bells that were perfect for her. It took about a three days of using her paw to ring the bell every time before we went outside unitl she was doing it consistently on her own. After that, our situation was SOO much better because she could "tell" us she needed to go. When she was younger, she would ring the bell more often than she needed to and we would say "We JUST took you outside", but that stopped and now she only rings the bell when she is serious about going. I was really suprized with how easy it was to train her and how much easier it made houstraining.
Good Luck!
