post spay concern...

so i looked through about the first three pages to see if there was already an answer to this.
my 8 month old puppy, sasha just got spayed on friday, and today (monday) her stitches looked a little loose, theres no swelling in the area, and very very little redness, shes been acting fine, its been REALLY hard to keep her calm. my question is do the stitches tend to loosen a little on their own or is there a problem?

I've never heard of that... you might want to call the vet and ask! If it had already been a week I probably wouldn't be as concerned, but after only 3 days I'd say it's important that her stitches still be in place. Does it look as if they weren't tied off well?

they look like they were secured very well, and theyre not like crazy loose, just looks a little outa place. it looks like where the stitch runs through her skin has stretched out a little bit. that is to say it looks like the holes have gotten a little bigger. is this due to her not wanting to settle down

Or likewise if you took a picture you could probably email it to your vet office and see what they think
