Spike is almost 7 months old and has done GREAT with potty training. Just this weekend he started to pee in the house or on the deck. At first I thought this might be some "teen" behavior testing us, but yesterday he was just sitting on the couch, which he is not suppose to be on but I can't keep him off of it 
, he just started to pee :eek:! I immediately grabbed him up and took him out side. He looked really confused like he didn't know what was going on. Then a few hours later he was asleep under the kitchen table and I look over and he is sleeping in a huge puddle of pee :eek:! That is when I knew this was not testing behavior, but more likely a UTI :(. I called the vet first thing this morning and they told me to just drop off a "sample" and they could run the test and let me know within an hour or so. Here is my question: Is there anything I can do to make Spike more comfortable? He keeps licking at himself down there and doesn't seem to be happy. I can not take off and take care of this problem today because my car is at the transmission shop and my dad had to bring me to work and will probabaly have to take me home too. He is in love with Spike (Spike is his Grandpup) so I know he won't mind stopping by the vet on the way, but I just hate it for Spike to have to wait. I have had UTI's several times and they are one of the most painful things I have experienced, and I am sure that it feels the same to Spike. I feel like such a bad parent! So any advise to help ease the pain would be wonderful!
