Possible eye problem

My 6 year old boxer Riggo's right eye is looking funky to me. Almost like the pupil is off center and at times he is only 3/4 opening it. He was playing very aggressively with his big red ball as always only 2 hours ago and ate all his food. Anyone have any ideas?

Is there any swelling around the eye or any discharge? Does he seem to be bothered by it, scratching or rubbing it on the ground?

I took him to the vet late last night and they said that it was conjunctivitis (hope I spelled that right). Some kind of irritant inflamed his eye and his 3rd eyelid was coming out to help protect it. I'm always a little panicky with his leukemia. They gave him some eye anti-biotic and he seems to be fine.

Glad to hear that Riggo's eye problem turned out to be only "pink eye". Wash your hands thoroughly after treating his eye since it very contagious. ~ Cathy
