Lisa - Wow, what a compliment! Thanks! I'm a bit insecure about my work, especially as I've never done dogs before... but as I warm up to it, I would like to do the same thing as a girl I've seen on Facebook - She does commissioned work and donates a percentage of the profit to the rescue of the customer's choice. Her work is better than mine, though, so I need to step it up first! haha

You are welcome and I'm sure you will get more confidence with each one! I know two on the social site = Pam and Ashley. Ashley did both of mine and she is very good and quick! I choose her because I liked her freehand style. BUT I love your's because of the realism style. You are truly talented and should believe in yourself that your work is amazing!!!

Cathey,

If you need to work on more portraits and want to view some excellent head shots of boxers, there is a boxer rescue site using a professional photographer, artist. I don't think I can mention this rescue site and link to it, but it is located in Ringwood, IL. The photographer, artist also has a link on the site. The photos are outstanding.

I hope you and Daisy have a blast at the dog walk and festival.

I'm working on another painting right now to keep myself sane - Daisy is at the vet, and in about an hour or so she will be having her spay surgery. I feel like I'm going to be sick... So nervous. Please send positive thoughts for my baby girl.

Susi - Do you have a larger version of this image, by any chance?

The link to that is from a photobucket account. I don't know how to make it bigger? Maybe someone else does but I have the original on my computer if that is helpful but I don't know how to get it to you!
That is my hubby's favorite picture of Cami. It sits on my desk and I see it every day.

Well, poop :( I don't know how you can get it to me, either! Am I allowed to post my e-mail addy in my "About Me" section? I love that photo of Cami, too! Such a stoic look to her face :)

This is so much fun! I haven't painted in a year and a half, and it feels GREAT! Thanks all, please feel free to keep the photos coming - I have four weeks until the rescue will need my donations for the raffle, so I'll be painting with my free time until then!

Is this better? It isn't the exact same picture but was taken at the same time.

I like this one even better! That look is priceless!

There is a way you can get that photo off photobucket. Go to photobucket, click on the pic to get it full screen, well as big as it can be on there. dont click out of the page or go anywhere else . Then go to your internet temporary folder, and find that page, should be towards the top of the list, if not first. Dbl click on it and it should bring up a screen shot of the page. Then you can copy from there and enlarge in a photoshop or publisher program. Hope this helps.
