Oh poor poor Vex! :( What a horrible thing to happen to him. We would take Markus out to the dikes in Pitt Meadows. I would always worry about him. He would insist on going down to the water, so I would hold on to his rear end, to give it stability so that he wouldn't fall.

I understand what you are going through! Hang in there Vex!

DM is such a devestating disease. :( We lost our 12 year old rescued shepherd to DM 3 years ago and it's heartbreaking to watch the progression and see their frustration. However, if Vex is still mobile then some extra support under his back end while walking and lots of treats may help him feel better. Chin up, Vex! One day at a time...

Sorry to hear of your ordeal of Poor Vex & also your DH not once but twice down that hill, I hope he is doing better now..I'm not sure what DM is.. but I hope he is feeling better soon and that his Meds have helped him to recover and feel better.
