My poor sqwooshy face boo man. He went in for his neuter this morning. Thankfully it was daddy who dropped him off and me who get's to pick him up so daddy is the bad cop and mummy is the good cop heeheehee. I called the vet and they said he was just waking up and seemed fine. I hope he doesn't have any complications, the vet has two boxers of his own and he was telling me some of he complications boxers can have...oh dear. Some of them are pretty nasty.

anyway, at least we have the weekend to spend with my boo bear so hopefully he'll be fine for when we go back to work on monday. Does anyone know if he'll be ready for agility on tuesday? It's just the basics, going through tunnels and jumps no bigger than 10". The trainer said he should fine, neutering isn't as invasive as spaying but i don't know...i don't want to push it.

Anyway, i'm just posting cause i'm still a little worried about him. Sorry this is so long (first time boxer owner, wory about everythin)

Awww Konah is a cutie! I am sure he'll be just fine. Just make sure to spoil him lots tonight! Good luck keeping him quiet tomorrow. ;)

He may be just as playful after a night of sleep, but definately not ready for agility on Tuesday or you'll risk tears and infections. I think you're suppose to keep them from too much normal activity for 2 weeks...I know, hard to keep a boxer still, but your vet will tell you exactly how long when you pick him up.

Thanks all!

Well i picked him up on friday and boy was he dopey. Very happy to see me but had big red rings on his eyes...(his sleepy eyes). I got him home and showed him his water but he just sniffed it and walked over to his beany bed flopped down and proceeded to snore his head off for the next 7 hours till i went to bed. I made him get up twice to go outside and he didn't even try and run away to the front yard (our back gate doesn't quite come up to the back door so the little devil will try and run to the front if we don't have him on his lead...usually with my bf because i learned the hard way not to take him out without being on his leash...chased him down the street in my flannel pjs one mornin). He's back to his usual hyper self and eating like the horse he's becoming. We make sure he doesn't over do it though and when he gets too hyper i crate him for about 20 mins til he calms down. I think i will play it safe and not go to agility tomorrow. The last thing i need is a vet bill to fix his fixing *L*.

Thanks to everyone though! I'm over my "worry" now.
