We do not have a pool for Maggie as yet, but there is about four or five of the small hard plastic sort at the dog park we take her to. It took her five or six times of being around it before she accually got in. Give Cherokee a little time to get used to it. Your son looked like he was enjoying himself, anyway!

Brody loves those small plastic pools, but we have an extreme water shortage here right now and aill be fined if we fill up even the little kiddy pools. I am praying for a bit of rain! He loves to bring his toys in the pool too!

Gosh, that puppy sure is cute!! I've never seen a boxer with a tail before, it looks like it would be lethal! :p I've never tried to get Loke in a pool yet. My sheltie doesn't like it at all though. He's been in the kiddie pool and a regular pool, he just swims to the steps and out he goes. I was afraid Loke would destroy the kiddie pool! She is so good at destroying everything else!:D

The pictures were absolutely adorable! I loved them! We have been talking about getting Raven a pool because she absolutely LOVES running through the water sprinkler! And, if we dont leave the bathroom door shut when we take a shower, we end up with a furry shower buddy! fiesta1ico Saturn, on the other hand, is afraid of water, he will not even go outside to potty if it is raining! he will wait until it stops! smashicon Oh well, gotta love these adorable babies! Keep us posted on how Cherokee warms up to the pool!

Both of your babies are cuties!!! It took Leena a few times of watching Mason get in theirs before she would get in. Now she runs full speed and literally dives in and lays down, so she is completely covered(except her head) and drinks the water. I am so glad I got it for them.

B.. those are simply adorable.. Jason is sure a cutie.. I agree with Jen.. CHerokee is wondering why Jason is playing in the water dish! ROFL...

Still cant get my 2 near a pool.. maybe in time they will become accustomed to it.. Now the shower is a different story they lay in the shower stall... Crazy Boxies.. I am sure its cooler in there.. but DONT turn on the water, they head for the hills..

Completely Boxer Crazy
This is too funny. It is funny because we bought Megan a plastic pool. She won't go near it. So my hsuband put her ball in the pool, hoping to get her to get the ball out. Megan drank the water out of the pool to get to the ball. Maybe she thought it was a big water bowl.

I love your pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Mac and Jazz have gone thru 2 plastic pools this summer. When they get empty enough to move Mac chews them up or else steps on them and cracks the plastic. I bought the hard plastic kind, not the soft sided ones. I don't think the soft ones would last with my dog's nails.

When I first put them in the yard neither dog stepped in. I tossed in a few marshmallows and they went in to get the treats and from then on loved the water. Jazz, in particular, loved to run and dive in the pool and lie down on her tummy. The stores are all sold out around here or I would get them another one.

Jean: I really hope that eventually she'll venture in. I think it was just too big for her so I think I'll try a smaller one.

JazzandChase: thanks

BaileyandRiley'sMom: Yes Jason totally loved it and stayed there for a while, Cherokee left him and came to hang out with me.

DPasto: Thanks

SteveandJen: LOL, Thanks

Joanna: I am willing to wait 4 or five times in hopes that she'll go in. Yes jason loved it so I don't feel my $3 went to waste.

Sarah: i think I'm going to try throwing a few of her toys in the next one. i want to get one of the small hard ones maybe she won't be so intimidated by it.

Loke: Thank you. Yes that tail can be lethal but you get used to it. There are a couple others here with tails. There's Rayna which is actually Cherokee's best friend and Monty from th UK I believe, he's a very handsome fellow. There are pictures posted of both you should check them out.

Doug_and_Rhonda: Thank you so much for the compliments. Cherokee loves the sprinklers too. sometimes we let her play in them but sometimes she becomes a maniac because they come up from the ground at a certain time so when they go back down she starts digging and digging and digging to get them out of the ground. So now she's all wet and digging in the dirt for the sprinkler which make s ahuge muddy mess. Usually with us taking a shower she loves to go in to lick us. We will definitely keep you posted on the progress.

Debbie: LOL:D

LeenasMom: Thank you. I hope Cherokee will be like Leena and dive in that will be a sight to see.

Sandi. Thank you. LOL:D

Malinda: That is too funny.:D

Nifftea: I plan to get the small hard one but I don't think Cherokee's nails would be a problem not that I would know since she didn't even give it a try. I think she was a bit scared of it or I could be totally wrong.
