POLL - Lap Dog or Independent

Hmm.... I used to have two cuddly lap baby girls, but then grew up to be pretty independent. My little polar opposites!

Mugsy is such a lap dog. When we are kneeling or sitting on the floor, he'll sit his butt on our laps and his front paws are on the floor. It's so cute and funny.

I have a 70lb lap dog who tries to be sneaky about it. She will start by just sitting beside you staring with those adorable puppy-dog eyes. Then you get one paw on the leg. Then, ever so gently, you get a second paw on your leg. Then the paws slowly inch forward until you have two front legs in your lap. Then one back foot starts to inch it's way up onto the sofa... Pretty soon you have a 70 lb dog laying in your lap. Love it!

I am so jealous! My Cami is not a lap dog, nor a cuddler, nor does she care if we are in the room or not!

She is Ms. Independent always and is in her own little word called Cami's Place. I visit her there whenever she is sleeping and steal my kisses and cuddles at that time.

I do get pawed at quite often for treats. Toys dropped on my head while I try to sleep, we play all the time but I would love to be able to cuddle with her at some point. Perhaps when she slows down.......however I don't see that happening anytime in the near future.

Tuggy is on my ankles all the time. I can't do anything without him being underfoot. When I sit down on the couch he will jump on the couch with me. This morning after we did the potty time, I brought him back to bed with me, and he wanted no part of it. I got on the couch, and he jumped on the couch, and liad his head on my leg.

I wasn't home all weekend, so Tug is even more clingy!

Beau is my cuddly male and Samantha is my independent female (but she has gotten cuddlier since I got Beau).

Hailey loves to cuddle and loves to be on your lap or curled up beside you. Sam is our rescue and he just loves to be in the same room as you, he will cuddle up to and stand over us to make sure we dont leave.
