I would like to know how many boxers you have. I am trying to push my boyfriend into getting another one, but he thinks we have no time. me being the primary care-giver to Sammy, I think I can handle another boxer. So that is why I am asking. Is two boxers really better than one?

Twice as nice

We have had 2 boxers for 5 months. Best decision I have made in a long time. One boxer is actually MORE work than two. The expense of two is definately a factor but they are such great companions for each other when I can't be with them. They also run a play together outside to burn that "boxer energy" in a way I could never do.

I am currently babysitting for a third one while a friend and my DH go hunting. Three if fun too but I don't think I could afford it long term.

I have two, a girl and a boy. I would have to agree that two is definitely easier than one in the fact that they tire each other out faster and can play boxer games with each other which is not easy with a human! The other side is twice the poop, twice the vet bills, twice the food consumption. Just make sure you can afford twice the expenses and you can enjoy twice the wiggles and twice the love!

We actually have 3 dogs, 2 boxers and a golden retriever. So I definitely have to agree, the more the merrier!!!

I only have Austin, he really doesn't like to share the attention, but if I ever were to get another dog after Aus goes to the Bridge, which I can't even imagine doing at this point, I would get 2 boxers.

I have one boxer. But I also have a pomeranian and a min pin.(and a cat, rabbit, mice and fish! ) I had two boxers in the past, but two big dogs in the house is tooooooooo much for me. I have my big boy and my kids have their little yappers. That's what works best for my family!

I have 3

I have 3 boxers. One in each flavor, LOL. Two females (brindle and fawn), and one male (white), which is the son of one of my females. AT first, my two females were best friends, but when the male came along, he replaced his mother and hangs out with my first alpha female. Mom was a loner anyway, they annoy her when they get stupid over a ball LOL.
But they all get along and take turns playing with each other, so it isn't as bad as it sounds, her being an outcast. They definitely keep each other entertained, that's for sure. Fighting over toys, having to check what each one is doing.

I think, it's easier to handle two than three, but I don't regret a single thing. I purchased a dodge durango, instead of my desired BMW, just because I have three now, and I love going places with them. AND -- You definitely have to be ready for alot of poop! And expense, OH MY GOD, it's amazing how fast I go through food. You don't think one more mouth will make a difference, but it definitely does. And you know those dog bones they love? The one's that cost you $8 now? Well, you need to buy two, so right off the bat, it's $16, or in my case, $24 just for bones. Stuff like that - how quickly it all adds up. Vet bills too.

But I wouldn't change my situation for the world.

Goodluck!
