Poll: ears.

Roscoe's ears are natural and I wouldnt crop them, but I think that the cropped ones look good too. I just love his big ol' ears and how they are way too big for his head right now as he is growing.

I like the ears cropped on a boy but floppy on a girl..dont ask me why..but to each their own..i like them both ways..Kira is floppy and i wont be getting her cropped.

I love the look of the cropped ears, but we left Winston floppy mainly because my young children prefer the floppy look. They think the cropped ears make them look a little scary. Also because I was afraid of taping and it's a lot of work for a dog that isn't being shown.

My husband wanted to crop Busters ears, I didn't. Also, there was only one vet in town that did it and he talked us out of it. #1 He's our baby and not for show. #2 We would've had to keep him away from our other dog so as not to rip out his stitches - never gonna happen.
So, there floppy and adorable and I don't think hubby would want to crop any future ones. He's come to love them. How could you not.

I perfer the floppy look. We have enough problems because people think he's a pit. Imagine if his ears were cropped

I think when the dog has the ears for it and they stand correctly and it's done right cropped ears look great but I also love the floppy look. Our pup's ears are floppy and they are absolutely adorable, he has the big floppy ears though, not the small ones...and he doesn't pins his back very often unless he is in trouble or playing. We plan on getting a second boxer and I wouldn't crop their ears either, just because they are our pets, not show dogs...it just isn't something we want to do.
