The information sign outside our local vet this week asks the question "Did you know that grapes and onions are poisonous to dogs?" I had no idea, and I'm still not sure why.

Geez, I'm glad I only give my boys "human" treats every now and then. Just a question...I give them bread sometimes and Beau loves bananas! Every time I slice one, he begs for a piece. Are either of these things really bad if they eat them from time to time?

Thank you so much for sharing this....I had no idea there were so many dangers. I will have to print this out and put it up on the refrigerator.

Tucker's Mom

Super Boxer
Tucker loves Bananas too! He'll take a banana over a meat snack every time. And, we have to be careful where we leave them. If given half the chance, he will counter surf to get them and we'll have stredded peel all over the house.

Super Boxer
Whoops! Roxy loves macadamia nuts and when I got a huge tin for Christmas I gave her some just about everyday. I saw no side affects, but I guess I'll know for next time. Thanks for the list, I'm printing it up.

Pineapple

Lola loves bananas and pineapples. I have seen her leave a big meaty bone for a piece of pineapple. She is so funny.

Wow!!!

Everything on the outdoor plant list just about sums up everything I have throughout my yard! That's scary. It's a good thing we built a fenced part of the yard that does'nt have any plants in it. That was some very much needed info and I'm printing it out for future reference. Thanks alot.
