bad update

We just got back from the vet and it's really bad news. My poor little baby has parvo. He will be at the vets through the weekend (at least) where they will do everything they can for him. Michael and I just feel like puking right now-this is not how things are supposed to be! PLEASE send out the biggest vibes you all can so I can bring him back home. The vet said that it was good we took him right in, as soon as he got sick, so hopefully he will fight this and pull through. I will keep everyone updated when we hear anything from the vet. Thanks!

I am sooooo terribly sorry about Tyler's news!! I am sending tons of (((((((healing vibes))))))) his way. I know you must be devastated right now, but think positive. You caught this early and that is good. His chances of pulling through this are great! Besides with all the prayers and healing vibes he will be getting from BW, how could he not? I send you lots of (((((hugs))))) as you must go through this. Please keep us posted on every little detail and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Poor Tyler! Poor mommy and daddy! I'm so sorry that your baby has parvo. Don't lose faith. He will pull through this. It might be rough for the first few days, but I'm sure once those days are done, he'll be feeling much better. I would like to say thank you to everyone for all your kind words and the great support system here at BW. We haven't heard from the vet yet-we called the on-call number to see if there is an update for us and waiting for the vet to call back. We were wondering if any of you have had to deal with this awful sickness? We feel pretty confident that we caught it early enough (he was his normal self until 9:00am and we were at the vet at 2:15pm). He had only thrown up twice and had one session of diarrhea, so he wasn't yet dehydrated. After Deacon, we don't take chances, so at least we have time on our side! He's just so little-19 lbs. We thought maybe someone would have some words of advice for us that have experienced this, but we also appreciate the healing vibes. Our baby can use all the positive energy we can send. Thanks again!
