I'm so sorry to hear about Murphy. I know it was a very hard choice to hafta make but it shows how much you really loved him. You did not want your little guy to suffer or be in anymore pain:( Take comfort in knowing he is now running and playing and will never be in pain or discomfort again. I'm so sorry. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. My husband once said (after his mom passed away) that the reason why we cry after the loss of a loved one (human or pet) is because it will usually take us many many years before we meet with them again. However, to them, it's only a matter of seconds, so they don't feel the pain that we do. Please know (and I know you do deep down) that you made the right decision for Murphy (the ultimate act of love for him) and I'm sure he's feeling much better now and will be waiting for you with a kidney bean and sloppy kisses!

Sarah, my heart is just broken for you. My 2 are still healthy, but I dread the day that I will have to go through what you are going through now. And I do know the intense pain of losing a beloved furry family member. We lost our puppy Emma in May, and my heart still aches so badly. I will be thinking of you, and of your sweet Murphy romping with all the others at the bridge.
