My Andy-cat was at the vet to have a regular checkup. He looked a little under the weather so he stayed overnight. Somehow he managed to escape, and no one's seen him. Posters and the like were put in mailboxes, but no luck. It's been over a week. I really hope he'll come home, but it's looking less and less likely. Please offer up a prayer for his safety.

I hope you find your kitty soon!! I posted a similar thread here during the summer when my friend's cat ran away. They found him after a week, so maybe your kitty didn't run too far away!

Old, yes. She was twelve. It was kidney failure that sent her to the bridge. One day she was fine, the next she couldn't walk. We carried her all weekend before deciding it was best she go to the bridge. She was a special dog.

No sign of Andy yet. I called animal control and they haven't picked up a cat that looks like him. He said that he knows cats that have been away for two weeks and have returned, so I shouldn't give up hope yet. I'm kicking myself for leaving him there. He's never bolted for a door before. I'm actually sleeping with his electric blanket because it still smells like him...
