miniature boxers - anything like "apartment size" boxers? years ago, some idiot here in this town was advertising that in the paper. I ended up rescuing one of their productions, because they wouldn't take her back and the buyers were out of their minds trying to deal with an ill-mannered beast who jumped fences and was NOT housebroken @ 8mo. She was 42lbs full grown, but all Boxer and ALL BRAT.

I searched the web for "mini boxers" just out of curiosity. What are these people thinking? How can you possibly have a mini boxer when a boxer is not even one of the breeds involved? It looks like a rat on steroids if you ask me.
You know, I think it had to happen sometime-so many breeds have been miniaturised so why not our beloved Boxers? And at risk of putting the cat among the pigeons, why not? At obedience there is this wee, wee Griffon who is dark tan with black face and paws and with his squished in nose, he looks all the world how I would imagine a mini-Boxer to look like. this little chap, Tommy, is knee high to a grass hopper at about nine inches high.mmichaelson said:

I honestly don’t bother anymore. But if someone tries to have done their research like I did then that’s fine. And some one who assumes they know everything about a breed is ridiculous, I'll teach them. I don’t pretend to know everything about the boxer breed, I learn something new every say, but I know how to learn and I’m, willing to learn. No like the people who want to have them destroyed.

Isn't there some way to stop them from calling them " minature boxers" ? They are not a breed, no boxer in the blood at all!!!
I decided to Google before sending this message, and I am proud to say for boxerworld, there is a link to Boxerworld and in bold it says " there are no miniature boxers"
When I first got Maggie, I have to admit, I didnt know very much about boxers, but I am learning and not repeating the same mistakes ( BYB)
Hopefully the word will catch on if enough people say it
