Hi, I just wanted to give a little update on Tom. He had a hip replacement on Friday, because the cancer ate the ball of the hip completely away. They said he needed it done asap because if he starts on chemo and his hip breaks there would be nothing they could do for him until after the chemo (I think there is a waiting time too). That is all I have really been told for now. So, he had this replacement and then they are going to start chemo in a few months. I will post another update when we hear more.

A little update: Tom is now at home with his family, he is not doing too well. He is really jauntice, his liver is really getting affected by the cancer. He is in A LOT of pain with his hip replacement surgery right now. I don't think he has much time left since his liver is shutting down, he also hasn't been able to keep food down because of his pancreatic cancer-it is all affecting him. Thanks for all the support.

Just a little update: Tom has started chemo and went for a MRI yesturday. Come to find out the radiation on his brain didn't help, the tumors got bigger instead of smaller. Last night he had a seizure and started throwing up at the same time, they called an ambulance and the EMS said there was nothing they could do but to make him comfortable. (Per his Doctor which the EMS called while they were with him) So, they started radiation on his hip today. I guess the radiation will possibly help with the pain, that is why they are doing it-from what I understand.
